Safeguarding & Wellbeing Statement

At Chris K Munro Coaching and The SHIFT, we aim to create a supportive, respectful and growth-focused space for personal development, mindset work and self-reflection.

We care about the wellbeing of our members, clients and community. However, it is important to understand the limits of what we provide.

Our role

We provide coaching, education, mindset tools, reflection exercises, group support and personal development resources.

We do not provide therapy, counselling, clinical mental health care, trauma treatment, medical care or emergency support.

Emotional topics

Some of our programmes may cover emotional or reflective topics, including fear, identity, confidence, limiting beliefs, procrastination, old stories and past experiences.

These topics are approached from a coaching, self-awareness and narrative reframing perspective.

We do not ask members to relive traumatic experiences or process trauma inside our courses, communities or group coaching spaces.

Your wellbeing

You are responsible for deciding whether our content, coaching or community is suitable for you.

Please pause, step away or seek support if anything feels overwhelming or unsafe for you.

If you are currently receiving medical, mental health, therapy or trauma support, you may wish to speak with your qualified professional before joining or participating in our programmes.

When to seek professional support

Please seek support from a qualified professional if you are experiencing:

  • Significant emotional distress
  • Trauma symptoms
  • Thoughts of self-harm
  • Suicidal thoughts
  • Severe anxiety or depression
  • Feeling unsafe
  • Crisis or emergency circumstances
  • Any mental health concern requiring professional care

If you feel at immediate risk or in danger, contact emergency services in your country.

Community safety

Inside our community, membership or group spaces, we ask everyone to behave respectfully.

We do not allow:

  • Bullying
  • Harassment
  • Abuse
  • Hate speech
  • Shaming
  • Discrimination
  • Threatening behaviour
  • Sharing another member’s personal information
  • Pressuring others to disclose personal experiences

We reserve the right to remove content, issue warnings, suspend access or remove members where needed to protect the safety and tone of the space.

Confidentiality in group spaces

We ask all members to respect confidentiality and not share personal information disclosed by others.

However, group spaces cannot be guaranteed as fully confidential. Please only share what you feel comfortable sharing.
